How do I get a tutor?

You can contact Nomad Tutors and book a session in one of 3 ways:

After inquiring about turoing services, Nomad Tutors matches your student with a qualified educational professional. Students can then arrange a day and time to meet. Locations include: student's home, tutor's home, or a public meeting spot. Location is determined by student and tutor preference.

How does Nomad Tutors work?

Nomad Tutors offers help in all primary and secondary subjects, English as a Second Language, as well as SAT and ACT preparation.

What's the minimum time to work with a tutor?

Nomad Tutors requires a minimum of 12 hours cancellation notice at no penalty to the parent. However, depending on the situation, cancellation in under 12 hours is subject to a cancellation fee.

Can I cancel my appointment?

Of course! In fact, we encourage it. If the student and teacher decide on a day and time that is to be repeated weekly, the tutor is responsible to book no other students during that time. If students are working with tutors periodically, then it is their own responsibility to check the availibility of the tutor.

Can I work with the same tutor again?

Use our online booking calendar to book a tutor, call or email Nomad Tutors.

It is up to the descretion of the tutor. However, a one hour appointment is usually the minimum time recommended to help the student maximize their success.
