In-person Tutor
Annette Clutton

Teaching subjects: Elementary Reading and Writing, English as a Second Language

In-person and Virtual Tutor
Donya Navardi
Teaching subjects: Elementary Reading and Writing, French
Hi, I'm Annette! I enjoy working with students trying to improve their speaking and writing in English. I have experience working with students who have attended French Immersion and students who need extra support reading at grade level. I have 5 years working one-on-one with students and have worked as an EA in for a school dedicated to providing support and instruction for students with multiple exceptionalities. My interest in education continues to grow as I consistently attend courses myself.
My name is Donya, and I am 35 years old. I’m a chemical engineer and currently studying at the University of Guelph in a Master of Biological Engineering program. Back in my home country, beside my engineering job, I used to teach French to kids, adolescents and later to adults who wanted to pass French exams such as TCF, TEF Canada, and TEFAQ. I have been babysitting in Canada since I came here in January 2023. Because of all these experiences plus being the eldest child of the family with 3 younger siblings, I have a very good relationship with children. I usually try to teach kids in innovative and entertaining ways, so that they do not get bored and learn better. I also try to adjust my methods according to the needs and personalities of children as I am opposed to using a fixed method for all children, and I think the method must be defined based on their strengths and weaknesses.

Hello! My name is Blesson Sunny. I completed my Master's in Applied Physics from Mahatma Gandhi University, India, in 2018. During my time in the program, I began tutoring physics, chemistry, and mathematics for high school and higher secondary students as a freelancer, catering to various Indian curriculums.
Later on, I had the opportunity to work as a subject matter expert in physics for two prominent e-learning platforms in the United States. Over my four-year tenure with these e-learning service providers, I had the privilege of engaging in various roles associated with teaching. These included 1:1 live tutoring, participation in the creation of solution manuals, involvement in diverse projects such as designing study materials and lesson plans, conducting quality reviews of lecture notes, assessments, study materials, lab manuals, and more, all of which were provided by US educators, vendors, and subject experts. My role also encompassed assisting students online with their homework, assignments, and exam preparation, which consistently led to improved grades and enhanced confidence in their academic abilities. I am particularly interested in working with students in grades 9-12, specifically addressing their challenges in the subjects of physics and mathematics.

Teaching subjects: Mathematics
Hi, my name is Pavan Sharma and I have done my Bachelor’s degree as a Mechanical Engineer from Gujarat Technological University, India. So, I started tutoring in India, when I completed my grade 12 in 2014. While waiting for my final exam results, I decided to start some part time tutoring. As i am good in Mathematics, I wanted to teach Maths subject with full heart of love to my near and dear ones. I was teaching for grade 10,11,12 students but sometimes for lower grade as well depending on my schedule and time, I had solved lot of queries that students have and they were so excited once they learned something new. Students are also excited to learn with me as I am polite, honest, and dedicated to their success. I can see that everyone has different perferred environments to learning like some want a quite place, while others prefer to meet in busier places like coffee shops. I work well with student preferences and try to help them feel the most comfortable and confident while learning. My task is to teach them, motivate them and achieve better results in Mathematics.
